I can't wait for this semester to be over. In the next two weeks, I have to grade 44 final portfolios, revise three poems, write a paper about said poems, finish my HUGE paper on the pedagogy of the working class, and put together my teaching portfolio. I should be on my way to campus right now to do these things, but I've decided to do a survey instead, in the time-honored tradition of procrastinators everywhere.

Apparently much younger than I actually am. And I'm good with that.

West Virginia. Shut up.
3) Are you waiting for something?
Right now, I'm waiting for the semester to end, please god.

I really hate the term "pet peeve."
5) Last myspace message you received, what’d it say?
"You look gorgeous!" It was a photo comment. That counts, right?
6) Can you handle the truth?
Usually, I prefer it, even if I can't handle it.

Not yet, but the day is just starting for me.

No. If I hate someone, I generally avoid conversation.

No, but I do have nine nieces and nephews.
10) Have you ever thought about converting your religion?
You mean like, cutting the roof off my religion and putting on a removable cloth top?

A friend back home got engaged. I never would have expected it of him.

Cold tea, because I always forget to drink it while it's hot.

It's bad that I can't remember, right?

I look like my mom.

I think I was teaching in my sleep again.

Three. One hole in each ear and one in my left nostril.

A finished pedagogy paper. And some black licorice.

My high school boyfriend bought me a necklace once. I'm usually single for Valentine's Day.

Not lately, but give me time.

The end of the semester, and getting to go home to visit my family for a few weeks.

I always mean it. That said, it's been a really long time since I said it THAT way.

My mom never did, in spite of all my urging. My dad may have, years before I was ever born.

Yeah...

Nope.

I'm not terrible at it, although I suck at following them.

When I have money--vodka tonic. When I'm broke--Woodchuck hard cider.

When it's cold out, I want warm weather. When it's hot out, I want cool weather. If I could live someplace that was 70 degrees all year long, I think I'd be happy.

Traffic outside my house, and the click of the keys while I type.

I hope people like me. And there's someone in particular that I hope LIKE likes me...what am I, twelve?

Yes, because I'm all showered and dressed to go teach.

I don't really have any.

I like septum piercings on some guys. And labret piercings look good on others. Oh, also gauged ears.
